A Tallahassee, Florida, police officer recently went above and beyond the call of duty when he offered to shave a homeless man’s beard in an attempt to get him ready to apply for a job at a local McDonald’s restaurant.
Kelly Duvall caught a video of the incident and says she saw the act of kindness take place at a local gas station. She says she saw the officer shaving the man and then talked to him inside the gas station after he had helped the man.
He explained that the man was looking for a job at McDonald’s but they told him he had to be clean shaven to get the job. He couldn’t get his clippers to work and asked the cop for help. The police man managed to get the electric razor to work, but realized the man didn’t have a mirror to look into so he could see to shave.
Knowing that the man was excited and hopeful to have the job, he offered to help him shave. How amazing is that?
